iPhone 14 Pro Max

Newz Fast, New Delhi: Apple recently launched iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max in the global market.

This company's latest flagship grade handset has managed to compete with some other high end competitors in terms of battery life. This battery comparison test was done by PhoneArena on its YouTube channel. Let's know how which phone performed ...

iPhone 14 Pro Max remains at the forefront

In the test, the tech publication compared the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max with other flagship grade smartphones. This includes the Google Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 6 Pro and even the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

While it's not really a very diverse lineup, the Pixel 7 Pro is one of the latest premium devices and the Galaxy S22 Ultra is one of the biggest competitors of the iPhone 14 Pro series in the premium segment.

Here, we can see the new 2022 iPhones dominating the list in multiple tests. The first smartphone was placed through a simulator to replicate typical web browsing. Both the iPhone 14 Pro models were hours ahead of the competition. Have a look at the results:

- iPhone 14 Pro Max: 19 hrs & 5 mins
- iPhone 14 Pro: 16 hrs & 18 mins
- Pixel 7 Pro: 14 hrs & 19 mins

- Pixel 7: 13 hrs & 56 mins
- Galaxy S22 Ultra: 13 hrs & 17 mins
- Pixel 6 Pro: 13 hrs & 13 mins

In the second test, all smartphones had to play the same YouTube videos until they went dead, with each handset at a 100 percent brightness level.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max again managed to dominate the list, while the Pixel 7 Pro's results managed to overtake the iPhone 14 Pro model.

The top end iPhone 14 model recorded 11 hours of playback, while the Pixel 7 Pro had 9 hours and 39 minutes of playback. The base iPhone 14 Pro gave a runtime of around 9 hours 14 minutes.

While one would assume that this is because both the iPhones have the largest batteries, in reality both models have the smallest battery capacity in the entire list.

Hence, Apple has clearly managed to offer a great battery life performance on its latest smartphones.
