But in the states of South India including Maharashtra, Pune, it is raining as a disaster. The roads have been flooded due to heavy rains.

Life has been disturbed because of the rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for today i.e. Tuesday in Pune, Mumbai, Thane and Palghar.

News agency ANI reported that on Monday night also, it rained heavily in Pune with strong wind, due to which the roads were inundated. Not only this, during this time the wind was also very strong, due to which many trees were uprooted.

According to the Meteorological Department, Pune city of Maharashtra received heavy rains on Monday and Shivaji Nagar area received about 81 mm of rain in a few hours. Water logging was observed in many areas like Hadapsar, Market Yard, Sinhagad Road, NIBM, BT Kawade Road and Katraj.
According to the fire brigade, rain water entered several areas and a wall collapsed in Parvati area. Vehicles were submerged in rain water in some low-lying areas.

According to the IMD, the Shivaji Nagar area received 81 mm of rain in a few hours. Let us inform that apart from Maharashtra, it also rained in parts of Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Kerala and Telangana on Monday. The possibility of torrential rain has been expressed even today.

Where is the chance of rain today

The rainy season has stopped in North India. There is no chance of rain in Delhi-NCR, UP and Bihar. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain with light to moderate rain at some places over Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Not only this, light to moderate rain may occur in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand and Odisha also today.
