Now it has been decided to extend the service here. A proposal to connect two new airlines with Gorakhpur airport has been sent by the Airport Authority to the Central Government.

It is expected that the services of both the airlines will start soon. Vistara and AirAsia, with international facilities, have expressed their willingness to offer flights to Delhi and Mumbai.

At present, the airport terminal has a seating capacity of 200 people. With the construction of the new building, the terminal will increase by 3440 square meters. The new terminal will have two floors. It will have a seating capacity of 300 people.

Also, taxis and rickshaws operating from the airport will be attached to the airport and they will be operated by giving coupons. Ambulances will be available 24 hours at the passenger terminal. In view of the safety of the passengers, an exercise has also been started to keep at least one ambulance in service 24 hours at the airport.
