Uttarakhand Weather : Rainy weather in Dehradun, warning of heavy rain in 4 districts of Kumaon today

Newz Fast, New Delhi: According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, a yellow alert has been issued due to heavy rain in Nainital Bageshwar Champawat and Pithoragarh. Light rain is likely in Garhwal. The sun can bloom in the plains.

Monsoon activity has decreased in the state since last few days. Due to which most of the areas are sunny. After suffering from the heat for a few days, the residents of Dehradun got some relief today on Friday.

Chance of heavy rain at some places
Drizzling rain continues in Dehradun since morning. Due to which the weather is pleasant. At the same time, the Meteorological Center has predicted the possibility of heavy rains in some places in Kumaon today. Whereas, there is a possibility of light rains in Garhwal. The sun can bloom in the plains.

Today the weather in Kumaon can change. Due to which there are chances of heavy rain with thunderstorm in some districts. According to Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorology Centre, yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain in Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pithoragarh.

Light showers may occur in some areas in Garhwal as well. Dehradun may remain partly cloudy with light to moderate rain likely in the afternoon.
