UP DA Hike: CM Yogi gave gifts to employees, bumper increase in DA-DR, so much money will come in the account with bonus

Newz Fast, New Delhi: The UP Yogi government has done the work of giving Diwali gifts to the employees and pensioners. The government has announced a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief to the employees.
Along with dearness allowance, bonus has also been announced. Under this, a bonus of Rs 6908 will be given to every employee.
The dearness allowance to the employees of Uttar Pradesh was 34 percent earlier, which has now increased to 38 percent. This hike has been implemented with effect from July 1, 2022.
Government made big announcement
After the announcement of the government, the Dearness Allowance of the employees of UP has increased to the same level as that of the Central employees.
In fact, recently the Narendra Modi government at the Center has also increased the dearness allowance of central employees by 4 percent. CM Yogi has also approved the bonus before Diwali.
It has been decided to give 6908 bonus to every employee for the financial year 2021-22. After this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also congratulated the employees and pensioners of the state by tweeting.
Benefits to 18 lakh government employees and 12 lakh pensioners
After this decision of the UP government, 18 lakh government employees and 12 lakh pensioners of different departments of the state will get the benefit. Let us tell you that the government revises dearness allowance twice a year.
It is worth noting that this increase has been announced to be implemented from July 1, 2022, according to this, the state government employees will also get 3 months arrears this month.
Let us tell you that on paying dearness allowance and dearness relief this month, there will be an additional burden of 296 crores on the government every month.
On the other hand, if you add 3 months arrears, then there will be an additional burden of 1184 crores on the government for the payment from July to October.
Calculation on maximum basic salary
1. Basic Salary of Employee Rs.56,900
2. New Dearness Allowance (38%) Rs.21,622/month
3. Dearness Allowance so far (34%) Rs.19,346/month
4. By how much dearness allowance increased 21,622-19,346 = Rs.2276/month
5. Annual Salary Increase 2276 X12= Rs 27,312
Calculation on minimum basic salary
1. Basic Salary of Employee Rs 18,000
2. New Dearness Allowance (38%) 6840/month
3. Dearness Allowance so far (34%) Rs.6120/month
4. By how much dearness allowance increased 6840-6120 = Rs.720/month
5. Annual Salary Increase 720 X12= Rs.8640
Accordingly, a total of Rs 27,312 will come in the account of state employees with maximum basic salary i.e. Rs 56,900 annually.
On the other hand, the government has announced a bonus of Rs 6908 for every employee. That is, an additional Rs 27,312 + 6908 = 34,220 will come in the account of the employees.
