Veteran all-rounder Sikandar Raza has created history by becoming the first Zimbabwean player to win the ICC Player of the Month award. Sikandar Raza was walking in very atish form.

He had scored 2 centuries in the series against Bangladesh. On receiving the award, 36-year-old Sikandar Raza said, "I am incredibly honored to have won the Player of the Month award from the ICC and I am delighted to be the first Zimbabwean player to win such an award."

Sikandar Raza has won many matches for the Zimbabwe team on his own. Raza played a stormy innings of 135 runs and 117 runs against Bangladesh and single-handedly led the Zimbabwe team to the title.
