Apart from this, the original Scorpio has also been updated, which has now been named Mahindra Scorpio Classic. The company has also kept their starting price the same. Both are priced at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Scorpio Classic vs Scorpio N Dimensions
The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic measures 4,456mm in length, and measures 1,995mm high and 1,820mm wide. It has a wheelbase of 2,680mm.

Talking about the Scorpio-N, it is 4,662mm long, 1,917mm wide and 1,857mm high. Its wheelbase is 2,750mm. While the Scorpio Classic gets 17-inch rims, the Scorpio-N gets 18-inch alloy wheels.

Mahindra Scorpio-N gets two engine options - 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol and 2.2L mHawk turbo-diesel. The first engine produces 172 hp and 400 Nm, while the latter produces 200 hp and 380 Nm.

Transmission options include 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT. Talking about the Scorpio Classic, it has been given a 2.2L mHawk turbocharged diesel engine.

It gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The feature list in the Scorpio Classic is very limited. It gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto support, automatic climate control, reverse parking camera, TPMS, cruise control.

It does not have an electric sunroof. If seen, the Scorpio N may have a slightly smaller touchscreen display, but it is more advanced than the larger display of the Scorpio Classic.

The starting price of both is the same, but there is a difference in the price of the top variant. The Scorpio Classic will be sold in only two trims. Its base trim S costs Rs 11.99 lakh and top trim S11 costs Rs 15.49 lakh.

Whereas Scorpio-N price starts at Rs 11.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 18.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom). That is, there is a slight weakness in the classic features, but the price of its top model is also less than the Scorpio-N.
