Sanju Samson gave a special gift to a child fighting cancer, fans are praising him fiercely
Newz Fast, New Delhi: The Zimbabwe Cricket Board dedicated the second ODI of the series to the children battling cancer. Zimbabwe Cricket has announced that it is supporting the NGO KidzCan Zimbabwe.
The Indian team defeated Zimbabwe 3-0 in the 3-match ODI series under the captaincy of KL Rahul. Meanwhile, Indian wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson won everyone's heart with one of his works.
The Cricket Board of Zimbabwe dedicated the second ODI of the series to the children battling cancer. Zimbabwe Cricket has announced that it is supporting the NGO KidzCan Zimbabwe. During this, Samson gifted a ball with his autograph to a child.
India did not lose a single match in the 3-match series. In the second ODI, Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 43 off 39 balls and took 3 catches behind the wicket. He was also adjudged player of the match.
Hosting Zimbabwe Cricket dedicated the second ODI at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday to children fighting the battle against cancer since childhood. India won this match by 5 wickets.
The Zimbabwe Cricket Board said in a statement that it is supporting the NGO - KidzCan Zimbabwe. This organization provides chemotherapy drugs, bus fare, treatment, nutritional requirements and psychosocial support to children suffering from cancer in the country.
Sanju Samson met a 6 year old boy and gifted him a ball. After getting the ball, the child fighting cancer did it anyway. This work of Sanju was also praised a lot on social media. Many people said on this – Sanju, you have won hearts.
In addition Captain Regis Chakabwa, Sikandar Raza and Bradley Evans visited the Children's Oncology Ward at Parirenayatwa Hospital. He donated hampers and toys to each of the ward's 26 cancer patients.
The playing shirt signed in the frame by the Zimbabwe team was gifted to the organization's president, Dave Mills.
