Ration Card cancel list: Ration card holders be careful, the government has canceled more than 2 crore cards

Newz Fast, New Delhi: If you are a ration card holder then there is important news for you. The government is providing free ration facility to the ration card holders.
The government has extended the free ration scheme for three months. The government had told that from 2017 to 2021, duplicate, ineligible and fake 2 crore 41 lakh ration cards have been canceled in the country.
If many ineligible people took advantage of this facility in the free ration scheme, then the state government has started the verification of the card. The UP government has also taken action regarding this matter.
Ration card will be issued
Uttar Pradesh Food and Supplies Commissioner Markandey Shahi has given instructions to all the Collector and District Supply Officers. It has been told on behalf of Food Commissioner Anil Kumar Dubey that the information given by the beneficiaries keeps on changing from time to time.
In this regard, complaints are received from time to time about inclusion of names of ineligible people in ration cards. For the ineligible card holders, the campaign is run under the National Food Security Act 2013.
The verification of Antyodaya and eligible household ration card holders will be completed within 30 days. Ration cards will be issued to the eligible people in place of the ineligible beneficiaries.
Will be canceled by the food department
Let us tell you that if you have not canceled your ration card now, then after verification the food department team will cancel it. Action can also be taken against such people.
Card rules
If you have 100 square meter plot/flat or house, four wheeler vehicle/tractor, arms license, family income of more than two lakh in village and three lakh in city annually earned from own income
So such people have to surrender their ration card in Tehsil and DSO office.
Crores of ration cards canceled
The government does the verification of ration cards from time to time. Last days, the government informed in the Parliament that from 2017 to 2021, duplicate, ineligible and fake 2 crore 41 lakh ration cards were canceled in the country. Out of this, about 1 crore 42 lakh cards were canceled in UP.
