For the last two years, the Central and State Governments are getting angry over the ration card holders, due to which the poor are being given benefits on a large scale. The Modi government has done the work of giving big benefits to the people under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

The process of free ration will end after September. After this, ration card holders will have to spend money to get wheat, rice and pulses. On the other hand, it is a matter of some relief that the mass marriage scheme will continue for now, under which the bride and groom are given 51 rupees.
Order to be removed from websites
In a letter sent by Rajnish Chandra, Special Secretary in the Government of Uttar Pradesh to Social Welfare Director Rakesh Kumar, a decision was taken to discontinue the scheme.
Through the letter, he had ordered to remove the system of grant for the marriage of poor daughters of scheduled caste and general category from the website.
Know when the last application was made
In such a situation, it is expected that soon the application of this scheme of the government will be closed through the portal. In the current financial year under this scheme, the last application has been made on 26 August.
A total of 776 forms have been filled so far in the current financial year. Earlier, 15 crore people were also shocked by the free ration scheme closed by the government.
Rice and wheat will get this much money
After the discontinuation of the free ration scheme by the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, card holders will have to pay Rs 2 per kg for wheat and Rs 3 per kg for rice.
There is a provision to implement this scheme from July. Ration distribution in UP is running late by two months. There are currently 3.59 crore ration card holders in UP, which is believed to have an impact on 15 crore people.
