Newz Fast, New Delhi: There is important news for the farmers. Questions are being raised in the minds of the farmers regarding the delay in the 12th installment of PM Kisan.

Where is the 12th installment of PM Kisan stuck? Farmers are constantly raising questions about the installment of PM Kisan on social media as well.

What is the update on 12th installment?

It is noteworthy that under this scheme, the first installment is given in April-July, second in August-November and third in December-March. Although if we look at the earlier records, the second installment comes much earlier, but this time there is a delay. Due to this delay, many questions are being raised among the farmers.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said in a statement that the Modi government will release Rs 16,000 crore to more than 10 crore farmers under PM Kisan Yojana on October 17 in the account of farmers.

More than 12 crore farmers are registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. So far, the central government has released the 11th installment under this scheme, that is, Rs 22,000 has been sent to the farmers' account.

Actually, under this scheme, the beneficiaries go directly into the accounts of farmers in three equal installments of Rs 6000 2000-2000 annually.

Why is there fear among farmers?

Significantly, 74 days have passed for the August-November installment and till now no official update has come on PM Kisan Portal. Talking about last year, the installment of August-November 2021 was released on August 9 itself.

In fact, in order to stop the ever-increasing fraud in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Central Government has made EKYC mandatory. Along with this, the state governments are also getting it investigated from village to village, so that only the eligible get the benefit of this scheme. And this is the reason why the release of 12th installment is getting delayed.
