Newz Fast, New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that even after recovering from the Kovid-19 epidemic, the world is facing many new challenges.

In his address via video conference on the sidelines of 'Ashwamedha-Ellara India Dialogue 2022', he said, 'India will have to re-shape many things to become a developed country by 2047'. Digitization, education and infrastructure are the biggest means to achieve this goal.

Economy will improve
Sitharaman said windfall tax on petroleum products and crude is being levied not on its own, but with regular consultation with the industry.

A day earlier, the Union Finance Minister had given great news on the country's economy. He said that it is expected that this year the GDP will remain in double digits. The increase in GDP means that the country's economy will improve further in the coming times.

He also said that along with education, health, basic facilities will also increase in the country. Continuing growth in GDP shows that the country's economic condition is better. He said, India is also responsible in terms of helping the needy sections.
