MP Weather Alert: Heavy rain expected in Gwalior and Indore, IMD issues alert in five districts of Madhya Pradesh

Newz Fast, New Delhi:  According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, due to the effect of the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, there may be good rain in various areas of MP.

A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon trough is also passing through Madhya Pradesh. Due to the impact of these two weather systems, the monsoon has become active once again.

According to meteorologists, heavy rain is likely to start in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Indore, Ujjain and Narmadapuram divisions from Friday.

On the other hand, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on Thursday, 32 in Mandla, 19 in Khargaen, 17 in Satna, 13.2 in Jabalpur, six in Dameh, five in Umaria, two in Dhar, two in Sidhi, one in Betul, Chhindwara. 0.6 mm of rain fell. It is drizzling in Khajuraho.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, due to the effect of the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, there may be good rainfall in various areas of MP.
In this season, a total of 996.3 mm in MP till 8:30 am on Thursday morning. The rainfall is 17 percent more than the normal rainfall (848.1 mm).

However, five districts of MP, Rewa, Sidhi, Datia, Jhabua and Alirajpur are still in need of water. The rainfall in these districts is 30 percent less than normal so far.

It is expected that these five districts will also recover from the crisis as the monsoon is active once again. According to the Meteorological Center, the humidity has increased due to the cessation of rains and the retention of moisture in the atmosphere.

At present monsoon trough is formed from Barmer, Bhepal, Jagdalpur, Andhra Pradesh to Bay of Bengal. A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal.

Due to the moisture coming due to the monsoon trough, heavy rain is expected in the districts of Indore, Ujjain, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, Chambal divisions on Friday. Due to the passage of Monsoon trough Bhepal, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in the capital on Friday.
