Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2022

RT Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment – ​​Hindu candidates should have Shastri/Acharya degree in Sanskrit from a University recognized by UGC.

Also should have one year diploma in 'Karam Kand' or 'Karam Kand' as one of the main/main subject during 'Karam Kand' Shastri/Acharya.

RT Granthi – Sikh candidates must have Graduate in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC with 'Knowledge' in Punjabi.

RT Maulvi – Muslim candidates should be graduate in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC with Aleem in Arabic or Adeeb-e-Mahir/Urdu proficiency in Urdu.

RT Padre-Christian candidates should be graduate in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC. In addition a person must be ordained a priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and be on the approved list of the local bishop.

RT Buddhist – Buddhist candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a UGC recognized university. Also an appropriate authority should have appointed persons as monks/Buddhist priests.

The term 'appropriate authority' shall mean the head priest of the monastery where the person is ordained to the priesthood. The head priest should be in possession of Geshe (PhD) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rajbam and should have proper certificate from the monastery.
