IAS Abhishek Singh was born on 22 February 1983 in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Abhishek has studied B.Com from Delhi University. His father has been an IPS officer and uncle has retired as Deputy SP in UP Police.

His younger sister is a dentist and brother works in MNC. IAS Abhishek Singh's wife Durga Shakti Nagpal is also an IAS officer
IAS Abhishek Singh used to love someone very much during his college days. After getting cheated by him, he even thought of committing suicide.

Even after breaking down so badly, he somehow managed himself and started preparing for the UPSC exam. Even after becoming an IAS, Abhishek Singh's love for music and acting remained.

IAS Abhishek Singh had secured 94th rank in the UPSC exam in the year 2011. He got the Uttar Pradesh cadre. His first posting was in Kanpur as a Joint Magistrate.

At present, IAS Abhishek Singh is the Deputy Commissioner in the Delhi Government. The present posting of his wife Durga Shakti Nagpal is in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. He is also a very popular personality like Abhishek Singh.

IAS Abhishek Singh Career:

Even after becoming an IAS, Abhishek Singh's interest remained in acting and music. He came into the limelight after walking the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week. He has 3 million followers on the social media site Instagram.

He has appeared in the song 'Dil Tod Ke' with B Praak. Apart from this, he also worked in the song Jubin Nautiyal 'Tujhe Bhool To Chaha...'. He will also be seen in season 2 of Netflix's series Delhi Crime.
