Google's smartphone buyers are beating their heads, the battery is running out in a pinch, angry users

Newz Fast, New Delhi: Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were launched by Google. People were liking this smartphone very much. Google had promised a strong battery and great features on the announcement of the launch of its smartphone.
But a recent report has exposed this promise of the company. It seems that the display of Pixel 7 Pro consumes an excessive amount of power.
Pixel 7 Pro's fast draining battery
The most powerful part of your smartphone is usually the display, if not only one. However, manufacturers have put in a lot of effort over the years to make the panels as efficient as possible.
XDA Developers claims that the display of the Pixel 7 Pro negatively affects its entire battery life.
While testing the device they found that as the brightness increased to its maximum, the display used a lot of power.
10 percent battery reduced in 15 minutes
After just fifteen minutes of screen time, it was found that the battery life of the phone has reduced by 10%. According to research, the Pixel 7 Pro consumes between 3.5 and 4 watts at 600 nits brightness.
However, this rises to 6W at a maximum brightness of 1500 nits, which causes a significant battery drain.
Normal running in low brightness
It is important to note that indoor use and low brightness will not result in battery drain, and users may be aware of this only if they are using the device at high brightness for a long period of time.
If it's a software issue, Google can quickly resolve it with an update. If the problem is with the hardware of the gadget, it will not be possible to increase the efficiency of the panel.
When compared to the Pixel 6 Pro, which consumes 2.9W at 600 nits and 4W at 800 nits, this represents an improvement.
Compared to the results of Samsung's latest devices, they are also quite high. Only 2W and 4W, respectively, were produced by the Galaxy S22 Plus at 600 and 1,000 nits.
