Collection decreased by 4 percent compared to the month of July
This collection has increased by 28 percent as compared to last year. At the same time, if compared with the month of July, then there has been a decline of 4 percent in the collection. The Finance Ministry has given information about this by releasing the data on Thursday.

Ministry issued statement
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, it has been said that along with the economic reforms taking place across the country, a positive trend is also being seen in the GST revenue. After Corona, good improvements are being seen in the economy of the country.

What is the collection of center and state?
The Gross GST Collection in August 2022 has been Rs 1,43,612 crore, of which Central GST (CGST) is Rs 24,710 crore, State GST (SGST) is Rs 30,951 crore.

How much did you earn as cess?
Apart from this, the integrated collection has been Rs 77,782 crore, out of which Rs 42,067 crore has been collected as tax on import of goods. Apart from this, in the month of August, the government has earned Rs 10,168 crore as cess.

How was last month?
Talking about the last month, in July 2022, the gross GST collection was 28 percent on an annual basis. The government had received a total revenue of Rs 1,48,995 lakh crore from GST in July. This was the second largest revenue after the implementation of GST.
