The trend of people towards electric vehicles in the country is increasing a lot. Till some time ago, people had very few options for electric vehicles, but now these options have started increasing more.
New products are coming in the market rapidly in the two-wheeled electric vehicle segment. Now in the EV India Expo 2022, many electric vehicle manufacturers have participated and presented their vehicles.
Electric scooter with a range of up to 130 km introduced
Shema Electric introduced three new high speed electric scooters - Eagle Plus, Griffon and Tough Plus at the EV India Expo 2022. The top speed of Eagle Plus is 50 kmph. It can give a range of up to 120 km on a single full charge.
It has a 1200W BLDC motor and a 3.2kWh Lithium-Ion battery. It may take 3.5 to 4 hours for full charge.
At the same time, the top speed of the Griffon is 60 kmph. It can give a range of 130 km on a single full charge.
It is powered by a 1500W BLDC motor and is powered by a 4.1kWh Lithium-Ion battery. The battery can be fully charged in 3.5 to 4 hours. Apart from this, the top speed, range and motor of the Tough Plus remain the same as that of the Griffon.
Tough Plus has a 4 kW LFP battery. Its 4 kW LFP battery can be fully charged in 3.5 to 4 hours.
It is worth noting that the prices of these three (Eagle Plus, Griffon and Tough Plus) have not been disclosed yet. These are expected to be launched in October, only then the prices can be released.
Odyssey introduces an e-bike and an e-scooter
Odyssey Electric has unveiled two models, which can be launched by January 2023 and March 2023 respectively. It is claimed that the bike will give a range of 150+ km and top speed will be 80 kmph.
It will have many features like touch-screen digital display, IOT, real time battery analysis. Its price can be around 1 lakh rupees.
On the other hand, the company also introduced a maxi electric scooter, which belongs to the premium range. The maxi scooter will have dual batteries, which can give a range of 200+ km.
At present, not much information has been shared about it but the company says that it will be launched at a price that can give tough competition to other top scooters in India.
There are many such two-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturers in the market like Hero, Okinawa and Ola, who have made a place among the people with their products.
In such a situation, any new electric vehicle makers launching their products will have to compete with the products of companies like Hero, Okinawa and Ola.
