Decision to give special discount on the purchase of moong and urad, farmers' income will increase

Newz Fast, New Delhi: Now for the betterment of the public in the state, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has decided to give a special discount on the purchase of moong and urad used in homes under the price support plan.

In Madhya Pradesh, information has come to the notice of disturbances in the scheme of nutrition diet, home ration scheme. This scam in MP has been done on the lines of fodder scam of Bihar.

Now for the betterment of the public in the state, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has decided to give special discount on the purchase of moong and urad used in homes under the price support plan.

For your information, let us tell you that on the instructions of Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, the Ministry has made purchase of moong and urad under Price Support Scheme (PSS) in Madhya Pradesh during summer 2021-22 season. It has been increased to 40 quintals per farmer per day, giving relaxation in the existing limit of 25 quintals for Rs.

Each farmer will get 40 quintals
M.P. Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel had met Union Minister Tomar and told him that according to the PSS guide line of the Government of India, due to the purchase limit of 25 quintals per day per farmer in relation to the procurement, Farmers who have more quantity of summer moong as per registration

And if they bring more than 25 quintal quantity at a time, then they face problem because of the above limit.
Resolving this problem immediately, Union Agriculture Minister Tomar has given instructions to the officials, after which the Government of India has approved an increase in the exemption on purchase of moong and urad to 40 quintals per day to every farmer.
