CG Weather Update: Bastar region may experience heavy rain today, Chhattisgarh has received 1068.1 mm of rain so far

Newz Fast, New Delhi: No significant changes in maximum and minimum temperatures. Light to moderate rains also occurred in different areas of the state.

It may rain again in Bastar. Due to the formation of a low pressure area, rain is likely to occur in other parts of the state. The Meteorological Department says that there will be no significant change in the maximum and minimum temperature.

The weather remained normal across the state including Raipur on Thursday. Due to the increase in maximum temperature, it was humid throughout the day. However, there was heavy rain in some areas in the afternoon. There was no significant change in the maximum and minimum temperatures. Light to moderate rains also occurred in different areas of the state.

Dondi-Dongargaon received 4 cm of rain, Geedam received 3 cm of rain, Charama received 2 cm of rain. Along with this, there was light rain in different areas. The temperature of ARG Sarangarh was the highest in the state. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 34.7 degrees Celsius.

The maximum and minimum temperature of Raipur was two degrees Celsius more than normal. 1068.1 mm of rain has been received across the state so far, which is seven percent more than normal.

Farewell to Monsoon soon
Meteorologists say that monsoon will begin to depart from the third week of September. It is expected that the monsoon will leave by the end of September. Thus, the monsoon may depart ten days earlier than the previous year.
