Full cream milk has now become Rs 63 a liter instead of Rs 61. The new milk prices have come into effect from today. Earlier on August 17, the price of milk was increased.

Price hiked across the country except Gujarat

The company has said in its official statement that it has increased its full cream milk and buffalo milk by Rs 2 per liter. This increase in milk prices has been done simultaneously in all the states except Gujarat.

This is the third time that Amul has increased milk prices in this way. However, no statement has been issued by the company yet on the increase in the price of milk.

When did the price of milk increase before this?

Amul and Mother Dairy had earlier increased milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in August. The price of milk was then increased in the name of compensating for the increase in cost.

Earlier, milk prices had increased in March. Prices have gone up again today. Before the festivals, this decision is being considered as a big setback for the general public.

Milk is one of the most consumed food products in the country. At the same time, it is also being said that this increase in prices will affect the budget of the people.

After Amul, now other companies can also increase the price of milk in this festive season.
