After the announcement by the central government, many state governments including Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have announced DA hike.

DA hike may be stamped today
Now on Friday before Diwali, the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is expected to increase the DA of the state government employees (DA Hike).
It is believed that like other state governments, the Punjab government will also announce to increase the DA of employees by 4 percent.

6 percent DA hike may be considered

The Finance Department has sent a file seeking 6 percent DA approval to the Chief Minister. After the approval of the Chief Minister, the matter of DA hike will be discussed in the cabinet.

After this, the dearness allowance of the state government employees will be increased. It is to be noted that 6% DA hike of employees can be considered.

October salary will be paid

Earlier, the Haryana government has approved to increase the dearness allowance of employees by 4 percent. In Haryana, the dearness allowance of employees has increased from 34 percent to 38 percent.

According to the notification issued by the government, 38 percent dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2022. The increased DA to the employees will be paid in the salary of October. Apart from this, the arrears of three months from July to September will be available in November.

DA increases twice a year

Let us tell you that under the Seventh Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission) by the Central Government, it is announced to increase DA twice a year in January and July. At present, DA to be increased in July is being announced by various state governments.
