31 year old youth quit his job and started cultivating figs, now earning crores of rupees

Newz Fast, New Delhi: In today's time, youth are earning huge profits by doing farming in a modern way. Today we are going to tell you about a young man who has created a business worth crores from the cultivation of figs.

The young man founded the Farmer Production Company at the age of just 25 and promoted fig cultivation by bringing the farmers of the village together through the company.

The 31-year-old mechanical engineer who entered the agro-processing industry in just one and a half years from a highly placed job in a big company in Pimpri-Chinchwad in Pune has made a big leap in figs.

Production and Processing Industry At the age of twenty five he established the Kisan Production Company and through this company brought the farmers of the village together and made an annual turnover of about three and a half crores from the cultivation of figs.

The name of this young engineer is Sameer Mohanrao Dombe. He is a resident of Khor in Daund taluka. He intends to set up a Farmer Producer Company to increase the production of figs, sell them and process the figs to make them a by-product.

The name of this company has been named 'Pavitrak'. Fig fruit is called Pavitraka in Sanskrit. That is why he has given the name of fig fruit to this company in Sanskrit language.

Sameer's father Mohanrao Dombe is a teacher by profession. He works as a teacher in the secondary school there and also works in the agriculture sector.
After his primary education at the Zilla Parishad School in Khor, Sameer completed his secondary education at Saraswati Secondary School in the village and up to class 12 at Abasaheb Garware College, Pune.

After 12th he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Technology, Hadapsar.

After this he completed his graduation in mechanical engineering from Vishwakarma Engineering College, Bibwewadi. After graduation, he got a well-paid job at GKL Sinter Metals in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

But he did not like this work for long. Unpure decided to leave this job after serving only one and a half years.
After leaving this job, he decided to venture into the fig processing industry along with fig cultivation and made it a reality.

Production of by-products: After the company was founded, after processing the fig fruits, they started manufacturing fig jellies, jams and other by-products.

These by-products are also named as sacred. There are four types of fig jelly and jam. These include plain, honey, saffron and willow powder types. Sameer said that the first year turnover of this agricultural producer company was only Rs 15 lakh.

Participation of 150 farmers in the company: Presently, around 150 farmers of Khor of Daund taluka have planted figs in an area of ​​400 hectares. All these farmers are participating in Pavitrak company.

Out of these 30 to 25 farmers are involved seasonally and 90 to 95 farmers are permanently involved in this farmer company.

The fig fruits and fruit by-products of this company are in huge demand from all over the country. Hence, these by-products are being sold through reputed sales companies in the country.

Sales have been arranged in all the districts of Maharashtra including all the metropolitan cities of the country (like New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore)
