The woman's husband had died in an accident. After which she got married with her brother-in-law. It is being told that the woman was murdered by her second husband over dowry. After the murder, when the mother came to know about this, the mother lodged a case of murder of the daughter in the Mahua police station.
In the complaint lodged by the mother, she told that she is from Rohua village and her daughter Anamika Kumari was married 10 years ago with Pankaj Kumar in village Bawan Ghat under Mahua police station. Shortly after that she had a daughter and a son.
In 2018, Pankaj lost his life in an accident. After which the family members decided that the woman should be married to her brother-in-law Rajan Kumar. The marriage took place on 10 December 2019 with the consent of the family. After marriage, Rajan Kumar also took the insurance amount that Anamika Kumari had received from her husband.
When he took the husband's amount, he started demanding another 10 lakh rupees. For which he started beating her. On which his parents gave him money. But then he started asking for the car. On which the woman told the whole thing at her house.
On which his mother said that she would come to his house and explain to the in-laws. After which on July 8, her mother came to know that her daughter had been killed and disappeared. His mother fled from Kolkata to Mahua Bawan Ghat.
On coming there, it was found that her in-laws had disappeared after locking the house. In connection with this incident, an FIR has been registered in Mahua police station against Rajan Kumar, his mother Meenu Devi, Abhishek Kumar and Phoolan Devi and Randhir Rai of Pauda village of Sarai police station area for killing their daughter and burning the dead body for the purpose of hiding evidence. has been conducted. In the light of the FIR registered, the police is probing the matter.
