In the language of RBI, some things are taken care of while printing currency notes. But after passing through millions of hands that have been in use for many years, the machines start decreasing.

Due to which many times the notes get spoiled due to the wrong way of saving money. And these kind of notes are eaten unfit. And often people stop taking such notes. In such a situation, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) destroys these notes by taking them back through banks.

Identification of unfit notes

RBI said that note sorting machines are made to identify unfit notes. And in this sense, banks should take good care of these machines.
An unfit note is called that which is not fit for recycling and its physical condition is very bad and that note has been taken out of the system.

If you have such a note, then you can go to the bank to get it changed and no bank will refuse to take that note.
