VIDEO: The new Vande Bharat has managed to break the bullet train's record, catches the speed of 100 kmph in just 52 seconds

 

Newz Fast, New Delhi: Railways has set a target of producing 75 such trains by August 2023. This train can run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and will be officially launched this month.

The bullet train takes 54.6 seconds to achieve the speed. The maximum speed of the new train is 180 kmph. old vande bharat train
The maximum speed of (Vande Bharat Express) is 160 kmph. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information.

Railways has set a target of producing 75 such trains by August 2023. This train can run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and will be officially launched this month.

Actually, the new Vande Bharat train was trialled between Ahmedabad-Mumbai on Friday. The train took 5 hrs 10 mins to cover 492 kms between Ahmedabad to Mumbai Central.

Shatabdi Express takes 6hr 20min to reach Mumbai Central from Ahmedabad. This train departs from Ahmedabad at 7.06 am and reaches Surat in just 2 hours 32 minutes while Shatabdi Express takes three hours.

Ready to go commercial
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the new train can accelerate to 160 kmph in 130 seconds while the old version train took 146 seconds to achieve this speed.

He further said, “Railways aims to produce two to three trains every month by starting regular production of Vande Bharat train from October, which will be increased to five to eight in the coming month. This new train has completed all the tests and is ready for commercial operation.

While addressing the press conference, Vaishnav said that the new train has many advanced systems. He said that the weight of the new train has also been reduced by 38 tonnes so that it can run faster.

The new Vande Bharat train is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. These have many facilities including vacuum based bio toilet, automatic sliding door, GPS based information system, CCTV cameras.

He also said that the photocatalytic air purifier system will keep the new Vande Bharat train free from all air-borne diseases including corona.
Vaishnav said, 'We will now start production of it in a serial manner. The test has been completed. Our target is that we can start regular production starting from October, under this two to three trains will be produced every month.

After this, this capacity will be increased to five to eight trains per month.
